Gaby Probst is Head of Professional Development and Pedagogy and a member of the Board of Management at the School of Management in Fribourg, where she teaches Business German.

After a commercial apprenticeship, she studied Education at university in Berlin and has since taught German as a Foreign Language and Business German in Adult and Higher Education in Switzerland. Alongside her work, she completed a master’s degree in Adult Education through distance learning in 2007. A growing interest in online training helped her focusing on training the trainer in distance education.

With this knowledge and experience she provides targeted training and support for numerous lecturers at HEG-FR and HES-SO thus furthering quality teaching in universities of applied sciences and adult training. Gaby Probst runs such training programmes either within the context of HSW or as an independent consultant.

Gaby Probst was born in Berlin. She moved to Switzerland shortly after graduating and quickly integrated in the French-speaking part of Switzerland. She is now bilingual (French/German) and also speaks English fluently.
