Born in 1974, Nicolas Gremaud studied mathematics at the University of Fribourg, where he obtained a bilingual master's degree in mathematics, as well as an upper secondary teaching diploma in 2001. He taught mathematics and physics at the Collège du Sud in Bulle from 1999 to 2023, and from 2018 he had the opportunity to teach mathematics and statistics at the School of Management in Fribourg.
Concerned about the well-being of young people, he trained as a school mediator, which he practised from 2008 to 2013. His curiosity also led him to spend a year working in Quebec (2006). Since 2007, he has been putting his skills to good use at the maturité fédérale, where he is an editor and leader for the mathematics tests.
Interested in public affairs, Nicolas Gremaud was elected to the Le Pâquier Municipal Council in 2016, and heads the Finance Department. From 2021, he will take on the role of Syndic of his Commune.
