Dr. Marco Biscaro embodies a dynamic and versatile figure in the academic and professional world, consistently demonstrating exceptional commitment to teaching, research, and innovation. Currently, he holds the position of Assistant Professor at the School of Management Fribourg (HEG-Fr), where he has already proven himself as a Scientific Collaborator. His role as a researcher and educator is the culmination of his impressive academic journey.

Dr. Marco Biscaro's career path reflects a variety of enriching experiences. Before pursuing his doctorate, he gained valuable experience in the business world as a development and sales agent for a major account in a multinational corporation. He also displayed an entrepreneurial spirit as the founder and manager of a microcompany operating in the field of slow fashion.

His career also includes positions as a marketing assistant and front office manager for luxury automobile brands, a project manager for a Swiss SME specializing in sports articles, and a marketing director for a Vaud-based group specializing in IT infrastructure. All of these experiences have contributed to his expertise in marketing, project management, and leadership.

In the academic realm, Dr. Biscaro holds a Ph.D. obtained at Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia. His thesis, titled "The Interactions between a Sustainable Business Model and Scalability: A Case Study," illustrates his dedication to research and innovation in the field of management.

He also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Applied Sciences of Western Switzerland (HES-SO) with a major in entrepreneurship, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from the École hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) with a major in marketing. His master's thesis, titled "Business Model Innovation: Research and Applications for Visionary 3D Bioprinting Firms & Managers," reflects his interest in innovation and entrepreneurship.
