Eric Bersier obtained his law degree from the University of Fribourg in 1989 and his lawyer’s certificate in Geneva in 1992. From 1992 to 2000, he worked as a legal advisor in the banking sector in Fribourg (BPS, Crédit Suisse) and as a fiduciary in Lausanne (PricewaterhouseCoopers). In the latter capacity, he advised regional and international clients, often in English. Eric Bersier then joined Suter & Associés, PricewaterhouseCoopers SA's correspondent law firm in Pully (and a member of the global Landwell network), before founding his own law firm, RWB Avocats, in 2003 (later FBT Avocats), also in Pully/Lausanne. In 2008, he returned to his native Fribourg, where he joined forces with Olivier Carrel to practice law. In the same year, he was awarded the diploma of specialist lawyer in labor law by the Swiss Bar Association. In 2013, he joined MBP Avocats. He has been a visiting lecturer at the School of Management Fribourg since 2016.
