TFV –Networking Event Series

Digitalization has permeated SMEs even before the pandemic, yet only a few have the capacity to address their challenges effectively. As an interdisciplinary group of (multi-)university experts in innovation, we propose to promote the co-creation of digital solutions for SMEs involving students, and develop best practices for driving co-creation with interdisciplinary university experts. This plan targets multiple goals : Applied innovations, publications, and training. Companies will meet a heterogeneous interdisciplinary group of students, creating new collaborations or employment. The university experts will gather practical experience in best practices for co-creation with companies and identify improveme nts in their own ecosystems.

In collaboration with multiple Universities of Applied Sciences in Switzerland, the School of Management Fribourg is launching a series of networking events that will take place over the course of four years. This project is called Networking Event Series – Collaborative Digital Innovation and it aims at promoting the cocreation of digital solutions for SMEs, with students and university innovation experts. To achieve said goal, three annual events will address digitalization issues SMEs face (in collaboration with students in open innovation), peer-learning to better understand solutions SMEs are using, and workshops for best practices to drive collaboration. As an interdisciplinary group of (multi) university experts in innovation, we propose to promote the co-creation of digital solutions for SMEs involving students and develop best practices for driving co-creation with interdisciplinary university experts.
