New system for social entrepreneurship training at the School of Management

20 Nov 2018

The School of Management Fribourg (HEG-FR) is launching a new advanced course, the CAS in social entrepreneurship. The course consists of 4 20-day modules running from January to December 2019.

The School of Management Fribourg is launching the first course in French-speaking Switzerland aimed at entrepreneurs, directors and company managers the main objective of which is to create a positive impact on society and not maximising profit. Do you subscribe to the values of a responsible, sustainable economy, is your company part of the Benefit Corporation movement or a network of companies with a positive social impact, and do you have threefold performance objectives: limiting or reducing environmental impact, a strong social impact and a sustainable business model? Against this demanding backdrop, what style of leadership should you adopt? How do you organise the company to promote collective intelligence? How do you innovate and manage while achieving a positive social impact? How to measure and evaluate your impact? These are the subjects at the core of the training which will give you the tools to integrate and manage these changes underpinned by examples of best practice from Swiss companies and leading experts. The programme is made up of 4 20-day modules. It is organised by around fifteen people with solid experience. At the end of the training, participants will have acquired a wide range of academic, practical and technical knowledge.
