Wilson O'Shaughnessy
Doctor of Science of the University d`Àix-Marseille, (l'Université de Droit, d'Economie et des Sciences d'Aix-Marseille), professor of finance and project management at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, Canada.
Wilson O'Shaughessy deals with the difference between project management and managing operational activities within the context of integrated management. He establishes links between the first steps of strategic planning, setting up a project portfolio, and performance indicators.
Since 1984, Thomas D. Zweifel has helped senior executives in 30+ Fortune 500 companies, governments, the UN and the military develop their leadership in the action of meeting strategic objectives. CEO of Swiss Consulting Group, Dr. Zweifel has taught leadership at Columbia University, Haute école de gestion Fribourg, St. Gallen University, and other business schools in Europe, Asia and Australia. He is the author of six books on co-leadership, including Communicate or Die: Getting Results Through Speaking and Listening (SelectBooks, 2003); Culture Clash: Managing the Global High-Performance Team (SelectBooks, 2003); and The Rabbi and the CEO: The Ten Commandments for 21st Century Leaders (SelectBooks, 2008; with Aaron L. Raskin), a National Jewish Book Award and Foreword Book of the Year finalist.
With a PhD in Industrial Engineering, Jérôme Barrand has led a triple-pronged career as teacher, consultant, and researcher in forecasting and strategy. Today he is a tenured professor at the Grenoble Ecole de Management, and a professor at the School of Business Administration Fribourg, where he interacts in both the EMBA and CAS Business Management programmes. It is important to note that M. Barrand developed the concept of organisational agility in SMEs.
With a law degree from the University of Lausanne, Eric Décosterd held management positions for 28 years with CIBA-Geigy, Zyma, and Novartis, in Switzerland and abroad. He has directed the EMBA programme as well as several other postgraduate courses at the HEG Fribourg for 10 years now. He teaches mainly marketing and change management.
