Fil d'Ariane :

Entrepreneurial Spirit

The emerging consensus among management scholars and practitioners is that entrepreneurship drives economic growth in both established and emerging markets. Although entrepreneurship is often still associated with small markets or newly created firms, increasingly, recruiters are seeking to attract people with readily identifiable entrepreneurial traits, perspectives and ways of reasoning. Therefore, the "Master of Science in Business Administration, Major in Entrepreneurship (Innovation and Growth)" offered by the School of Business Administration Fribourg (HEG-FR) is:

  • Professionalizing: the master program responds to the needs of enterprises and administrations.
  • Scientific: the master program is anchored in a solid scientific foundation.
  • Modular: the master program is composed of various modules with different methodological approaches (advanced level lectures, workshops, action-learning projects and entrepreneurial laboratories). Normally lectures are held on Thursday (whole day), Friday (whole day) and Saturday morning, thus part-time work of 50-60% is feasible.
  • Broadly based: the master program is conceived on the basis of wide national and international collaboration.
  • Multilingual: the master program is offered in French/English and German/English.
  • Officially approved: the School of Business Administration Fribourg (HEG-FR) has received formal authorization from the Federal Office for Professional Education and Technology (OPET) to carry out the master program.
