Veranstaltungen
Die HSW Freiburg organisiert regelmässig Veranstaltungen, um die Beziehungen zu seinem Netzwerk zu pflegen. Daher hat sie 1997 erstmals ein Wirtschaftssymposium organisiert, worauf sieben weitere folgten. Überdies wurden seither ein internationaler Kongress für die Forschung in den Bereichen Entrepreneurship und KMU sowie weitere zahlreiche Konferenzen und Vorträge, die sich an Kader von Unternehmungen, Forschende und Studierende richten, durchgeführt.

18th-29th of September 2011. Study Trip USA 2011
The Entrepreneurship-Students will go to a field trip to the United States of America (Worcester and Boston). Why the Northeast of the USA? The Northeast is a wealthy area with highly developed microelectronics, computer and biotech industries and with more than a few prestigious educational institutions. Together with California it is the most popular harbor for Swiss ventures exploring the American continent. And the greater Boston region ranks within the TOP-5 regions with the highest Creativity Index scores of the United States.
Program: From Sunday 18th September until Saturday 24th September there will be lectures (and more) at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute (www.wpi.edu) and after that, from Monday 26th September until Thursday 29th September there will be different workshops and activities in the Boston area.
The program covers the module "Discover Entrepreneurship" and a part of the module "Innovation and Technology Management 2".

16th of September 2011. Kick-off MScBA
Lectures for the MSc in Business Administration are scheduled to begin very soon. Courses are held conjointly with the Western Swiss University of Applied Sciences in Lausanne begining September 22nd. To best prepare the course of study, all future MScBA students get acquainted at the School of Business Administration in Fribourg on Friday September 16th.

15th of September 2011. Training and Entrepreneurship 2011
This meeting aims to: (1) Bring together scholars, teachers, coaches and researchers in training, supervision and promotion of entrepreneurship within higher education; (2) Share skills, expertise and content related to entrepreneurship education.

8th of September 2011. NEXT day 2011
The National Day on Business Succession. In Switzerland, one out of two entrepreneurs is over 55 years old. More than 77,000 SMEs will have to plan their succession by 2013. This demonstrates the importance of the subject. Relève PME is a non-profit association with the main objective of raising awareness among managers regarding business succession. In partnership with kmuNEXT and Futuro PMI, Relève PME is establishing a national day on this topic. Due to its specialization in entrepreneurship and SMEs, School of Business Administration in Fribourg is also a partner. This event aims to gather and inform not only the entrepreneurs who may take over a company, but also all those concerned with this topic.

Mr. Beat Vonlanthen, director of the economy and employment in the canton of Fribourg, Haute Ecole de Gestion de Fribourg, Cleantech Fribourg and the School of Engineering and Architecture are pleased to invite you to a meeting of Cleantech representatives. The 10th of June, HEG Fribourg hosts the 2nd edition of the Swiss Innovation & Trend Day, a successful event that last year brought together more than 250 participants - students, employees and Top Management responsibles. Innovation, like many business functions, is a management process that requires specific tools, rules, and discipline. True innovation is a risky business. When most managers say they want "innovation", what they really mean is "renovation". In other words, improving upon an already tried and tested idea. But these familiar corporate restructuring and cost-cutting measures will never deliver growth on their own. A willingness to innovate, to recognize the value of accurate trend analysis - both are essential to achieve aggressive top-line growth, and increase bottom-line results. True innovation requires more than just ideas. Such insights must be put into action in order to make a difference to processes within the organization, or the products or services it provides. The benefits of each innovation are always temporary. This is why it is vital to implement a culture of innovation for sustainable corporate development.
