DESCRIPTION

India’s progress over the past 25 years has been phenomenal. It is a member of the G20 and the BRICS group of newly industrialized nations. Swiss companies invest more than four and a half billion Swiss Francs in India and employ around 100000 people. India is currently the world’s fastest growing large economy as per the latest estimates of the International Monetary Fund. With political reforms guided by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, there is hope for accelerated growth.

Despite this rosy outlook, crossing the chasm into the Indian market is a formidable task. With a myriad of differences between the Swiss and Indian culture, much preparation and thought has to be given before starting a business there. HEG-Fr’s CAS Doing Business in India seeks to address this pressing need. This course, unique in Switzerland, offers you the opportunity to accustom yourself to the local practices and specificities of doing business in India. Its multifaceted learning approaches of online learning, classroom-based discussions and a trip to India at the end of the course, ensures that you are provided a well-rounded education from start to finish. The immersion aspect at the end is designed to provide a practical understanding of how to do actual business in India.

Content is delivered through invigorating and useful videos. This is then followed by interactive classroom discussions, where each online topic is reviewed in greater detail. This flips the classroom and reverses the traditional learning environment. An immersive program to India allows for first-hand experience in the country.
