​​​​Electronic commerce is booming and companies that decide to outsource the management of online sales channels are now increasingly internalizing and struggling to find staff with the necessary expertise. If you already deal with e-Commerce, or are planning a new venture, this course will help you to gain the skills and know-how necessary in this area. Starting and running a thriving business of online sales is not a simple undertaking, but NetComm Suisse and its education and training partners will give you the foundation necessary to succeed.

Rico Baldegger                                                                                                               

E_commerce_Intervenant_Rico_Baldegger.jpgAs a professor of Management and Entrepreneurship at the School of Management Fribourg, Rico J. Baldegger acts as academic coordinator of the Master in Entrepreneurship. He graduated from the University of St Gallen and obtained his doctorate from the University of Fribourg. He is the author of numerous publications on entrepreneurship, internationalization of SMEs and the reorganization of family businesses. Moreover, he is a serial entrepreneur, as is demonstrated by the many companies he created.

Great believer in the value of dot brand, Guillaume co-founded dot stories in 2015. With a combined know-how in marketing, domain names, and change management, dot stories’ objective is to make dot brand simple and to support the brands engage in that revolution.

Before creating dot stories, Guillaume ran the application and strategy for 14 Top Level Domains, out of which 10 “dot brand”. He acted as Director for Digital Projects at Richemont, where he has been instrumental in the digital transformation, designing and implementing the first e-commerce platforms, e-CRM, social media and e-retail solutions for over 10 years.

Guillaume earned his degree in Engineering from Ecole Centrale de Paris in 1993. He then worked as civil engineer, where he implemented sensor based intelligent construction sites as early as 1996, and since then has always been passionate about disruptive innovation.

He loves running Marathons as well as going skiing with his two children. Furthermore, Guillaume is a regular contributor to the Geneva Management School Master in Luxury, as well as at CREA and with HEAD, creative and design schools.

Laurent Garet was named CEO of La Redoute Switzerland SA in June 2013.

Before that, he spent most of his career within the Kering Group, holding important positions in Operations, Marketing, Organization, Product, Business development, in 3 different countries: Italy, UK, and France. These experiences led him to take on a CEO role, first in Spain  between 2008 and 2013, and then in Switzerland. His current challenge is to position laredoute.ch as the unique online apparel and decoration offer, with products exclusively designed in France, as part of a new ambitious business plan for La Redoute in Europe.

Laurent speaks French (native), English, Italian and Spanish, and has some basic knowledge in German. He holds a Master Degree in Business Administration from EDHEC Grande Ecole, and is a French Foreign Trade Counsellor.

Manuela Karam-Feuz is an E-Commerce partner manager for SIX Payment Service. Manuela has worked with big brands, web agencies and banks on various projects related to e-commerce and e-payment. For SIX, it is all about chances and success; not only because of the revenue growth outlook but also because it allows merchants to explore new ways to bond with their customers.
After a Masters in Linguistics and History, Manuela Karam-Feuz has pursued her education in economics and project management.

"Philippe Lucet is Vice-President and General Counsel R&D and IP for Nestlé, responsible for legal matters relating to Trademarks,Digital/e-Commerce, Designs and Patents, as well as Legal R&D and Health Science. Prior to joining Nestlé, Philippe was Lead Counsel at Richemont, the global luxury group, and an attorney-at-law in private practice in Paris and New York, specializing in corporate, innovation, IP/IT, digital, media and telecommunications. He has a strong experience in legal and regulatory matters relating to digital and e-commerce”.

 



Claudia Patocchi

Claudia Patocchi is Team Leader of the Product Management for International Business Solutions at Swiss Post in Berne. In this function she is also a specialist for world-wide distance selling solutions for e-commerce customers in Switzerland. She started her carrier in the product management of B2C solutions and within the partner management of alternative distribution solutions, which allowed her to gain many years of experience in the distance selling area. Ms. Patocchi graduated in Business Administration at the University of Cologne and also studied International Management at the Haute Ecole de Commerce (HEC) in Paris.

Carlo Terreni is co-founder and board member of NetComm Suisse Association. Since August 2012, he is head of  the NetComm Suisse Observatory and he works with passion and determination towards the establishment of a permanent e-commerce observatory, in collaboration with PostFinance and Accenture. His goal is to supply free strategic quantitative data on electronic commerce to the Swiss e-commerce community, in order to help decision makers to exploit the potential of the Swiss and European online market. Carlo has been working as a digital consultant and account manager for Tinext SA, a leading web Agency in Ticino, since 2010. He has provided consultancy services for companies such as Cornèrcard, Sanofi, AET, Bally, Diamond, Artsana, Royal Caribbean, etc. He holds two Master Degrees in marketing and sales from Copenhagen Business School and Bocconi University and he obtained his High School Diploma at Lasswade High School in Scotland. 


Alexandre Wehrlin

Alexandre Wehrlin is a Swiss-Australian who studied and grew up in Geneva. He started his career at Sita, a telecommunication company and later joined DFS Trading Ltd, a member of luxury group LVMH, where he worked five years as a Business Analyst. During this time he carried out several international projects notably in Miami and in Singapore, conducting IS integration and training. In 2004, he joined the Communications Department at Piaget, where he was in charge of budgeting, internet and films. In 2007, he was appointed E-Business Manager and dedicated his time to the launch of several e-commerce platforms in the US, Europe, Japan and lately China. He also conducted the internalization of contact-centers for the brand. He oversees the development of websites, the digital media, social networks, and back-office services and also participates in the brand’s communication launches. In parallel, Alex is also a lecturer at the Geneva University for the e-business and communication master.

Gaël Hurlimann

Gaël Hurlimann, 41 ans, a étudié les sciences politiques à l'Université de Lausanne. Il est depuis février 2015 rédacteur en chef du numérique pour Le Temps et L’Hebdo, en charge de mener la transformation digitale des deux titres. Il a auparavant géré la présence en ligne du CICR de 2012 à 2015. De 2006 à 2012, il était responsable du site d’information de la  Radio Télévision Suisse.  Parallèlement à son activité professionnelle, il a été chargé de plusieurs cours de journalisme multimédia au Département des sciences de la communication et des médias de l’Université de Fribourg.
